Welcome to Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS). We are conveniently located in the Green Lake/Greenwood neighborhood, just on the westside of Green Lake. Our professionals work with children, adolescents and young adults coping with anxiety, autism spectrum, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, ADHD, adjustment challenges, social skill challenges, school challenges, family transitions and life stressors. We are dedicated to evidenced-based practices and we provider therapy, consultation and evaluations. Our evaluations include diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, as well as cognitive and academic testing for school placement. Our mission is to help our clients achieve their goals and improve functioning and quality of life. We use sensitivity, compassion and culturally-sensitive care to deliver the highest quality of service.
We are a group of independent psychologists under the name Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS). This group is an informal association of independently practicing psychologists who share certain expenses and administrative functions. While the members share a name, we are completely independent in providing clinical services. The provider you see is alone fully responsible for those services. Professional records are separately maintained and no member of the group can have access to them without your specific, written permission.
Brief history of CAPSS:
The CAPSS office opened in the Fall of 2017, with Drs Amy Bohlander, Rosalind Oti, and Andrea Pascarelli. In 2018, Dr Pascarelli relocated out-of-state and is therefore no longer seeing clients at our office. She is greatly missed, although is pursuing a new adventure with her family. We were excited to welcome Drs. Maggie Bromberg and Jennifer Strickland to our office in 2018.
