About the CAPSS Community

Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS) is a collective of child and adolescent mental health providers in independent practice. We offer physical and virtual office space & community for providers in private practice. CAPSS is co-owned & managed by Drs. Amy Bohlander, Rosalind Oti, and Maggie Bromberg. However, each provider at CAPSS has their own independent practice and is not an employee of CAPSS.

CAPSS first opened its doors in 2017 with 3 psychologists. We originally had one 3-office suite that was previously a wedding dress shop, with 2 residential apartments across the hall. Over the years, we were able to expand into the 2 additional apartment suites and convert them into offices. Today, we have grown to house over 15 independent mental health practices among an 8-office suite- the entire top floor of our building.

CAPSS allows independent practitioners to share office space, ideas, and overhead costs. We meet regularly for clinical consultation groups, we share information and ideas we learn through professional trainings, and we keep each other up-to-date on research findings and current resources in the community. We also genuinely enjoy each other’s company. Most of us had worked and trained together at various points in our careers, and had known each other for many years before CAPSS, primarily at Seattle Children’s Hospital- Autism Center and at the University of Washington.

Psychologists, masters-level mental health therapists, psychiatrists, and psychiatric nurse practitioners who work with kids and families are welcome to learn more about us at www.capsseattle.com and contact us about current office space and virtual availability at info@capsseattle.com.
