Rachel Earl, PhD (she/her/hers) is a licensed psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan who are seeking support related to:

  • Autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodiversity

  • Anxiety and OCD

  • Executive functioning difficulties

  • Gender identity development (transgender, nonbinary, gender questioning)

 Dr. Earl specializes in diagnostic evaluation for autism and ADHD. Her approach to assessment is strengths based and neurodiversity affirming. Dr. Earl is committed to helping clients learn more about their strengths and areas of need and giving them, as well as their families, tools and resources.

Dr. Earl also offers individual therapy for individuals presenting with:

  • Anxiety, OCD

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Adjustment related to gender questioning and gender transition

 She provides gender affirming and strengths-focused therapy utilizing a cognitive behavioral orientation and a non-judgmental, collaborative stance to care.

 She also offers parent-focused behavior management training for parents of young children. She has specialized training in The Incredible Years and RUBI Autism Network’s Parent Training for Disruptive Behavior.

Education and Training

Dr. Earl earned her doctorate from the University of Washington and completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, specializing in intellectual and developmental disabilities. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Seattle Children’s Autism Center (SCAC) and continued on as a clinical psychologist and director of the SCAC Mood and Anxiety program.
