Seattle OCD Walk is coming up!
The Seattle OCD Walk is coming up: Sunday October 5th 10am-1pm at Seward Park! CAPSS had fun supporting this great cause at the walk in 2024. Hope to see you at the 2025 walk this Fall!

Dr. Molly Cevasco’s new practice
CAPSS will no longer offer IEE’s (Independent Educational Evaluations) or therapy & evaluations for trauma. The fabulous Dr. Molly Cevasco has been offering these services at CAPSS in both English and Spanish, for many years, and has recently set up her own full-time office space in the Central District! You can contact Dr. Cevasco via her website, www.farolitoseattle.com.

Dr. Nancy Lau presenting at conference
Nancy Lau, PhD, will be presenting at the Pediatric Mental and Behavioral Health Research Summit hosted by Seattle Children’s. Looks like a great day of programming!

Publication by Drs. Cevasco & Trevino
Dr. Molly Cevasco and Dr. Cindy Trevino, psychologists who practice at CAPSS, co-authored the following publication: Essential Recommendations and Strategies for Mental Health Administrators and Leadership to Develop and Sustain Pediatric Bilingual Mental Health Care Services. Nice work!

IOCDF Conference in San Francisco
Dr. Maggie Bromberg and Dr. Rosalind Oti recently had the opportunity to attend IOCDF's incredible annual OCD conference in San Francisco. The OCD conference is a unique event that brings together both professionals and individuals living with OCD, of all ages. Drs. Bromberg and Oti attended workshops related to disgust, mental compulsions, sensory differences, misophonia, and shame (among many others!) and are excited to share all that they learned with their colleagues and clients at CAPSS. As an added bonus, the keynote speech was given by the very talented comedian, Maria Bamford, who has been very outspoken about her own struggle with OCD.
