Welcome to Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS)!
The independent mental health providers at CAPSS work with children, adolescents, and adults*. We offer therapy, evaluations, parent support, groups, and medication management.
Our evaluations include diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities, as well as IQ testing for school placement.
Our therapy services focus on individuals who experience anxiety, OCD, autism, ADHD, and depression, as well as adjustment to various transitions and stressors including chronic illness, transition to adulthood, identity development, gender exploration, and school and life stressors.
At CAPSS, we focus on evidenced-based practices, meaning that we use therapy that is shown to help for specific problems. All providers at CAPSS work from a neurodiversity-affirming paradigm. We also tailor our work to our individual clients’ needs and goals.
Our office is conveniently located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. Most of our providers offer both in-person and video appointments. We have providers offering services in English and Spanish.
*Although our name implies we work primarily with children and teens, we also see many adults: In particular, college students, young adults, neurodivergent adults, and parents.

CAPSS is home to separate mental health practices and providers who share certain expenses and administrative functions. We are completely independent in providing clinical services. The provider you see is alone fully responsible for those services. Professional records are separately maintained and no member of the group can have access to them without your specific, written permission.
If you are interested in our services, please complete the New Client Inquiry Form.
Note that filling out the inquiry form does NOT place you on a waitlist or guarantee that you will receive services now or in the future. Rather, it is a way for you to express interest so that our providers will see your inquiry when they have an opening.
