Clinical Practice and Specialities
I am a clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric health psychology. My practice focuses on working with children through young adults with:
Chronic illnesses (Celiac, gastrointestinal disorders, epilepsy, lupus, juvenile arthritis)
Chronic pain (headaches, joint and muscle pains, abdominal pain, widespread pain, fibromyalgia)
Chronically fatiguing conditions (POTS, EDS, ME/CFS, post-viral syndromes including Long COVID)
Anxiety, OCD, and Perfectionism
Needle fears/phobias and medical trauma
Sleep disorders (insomnia, narcolepsy, bedtime problems, excessive daytime sleepiness)
Navigating developmental/life transitions (entering middle school/adolescence, graduating, emerging adulthood)
LGBTQIA+ and identity-related stress (developing healthy gender identity, gender exploration, supporting trans and nonbinary individuals)
Autism and neurodivergence
. . . And the intersection amongst these concerns
I also frequently work with “well” siblings of individuals who are medically complex or neurodivergent, as they navigate their distinct experience of growing up with a sibling with different support needs.
I offer a therapy group for tween girls (~11-14 years old), Thriving Tweens Girls Group, aimed at promoting healthy stress and coping, developing social support, and enhancing mindfulness skills.
Enrollment is open and ongoing throughout the 2025-2026 school year. https://www.capsseattle.com/thrivingtweens
