Welcome to Child and Adolescent Psychological Services of Seattle (CAPSS)!

We are a group of mental health professionals in private practice who see children, teens, and adults. We each have our own private practice, and we share office space and community at CAPSS. Our office is conveniently located in the Phinney Ridge neighborhood of Seattle. Most of our providers offer both in-person and video appointments. Although our name implies we work only with children and teens, we also see many adults: in particular, college students, young adults, neurodivergent adults, and parents.

Our Services

We offer evaluations, IQ testing, individual & group therapy, and medication management.

Our evaluations include comprehensive diagnostic assessments for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia). We also offer IQ testing for school planning purposes.

Our 2 board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners offer medication consultation and management.

Our therapy services focus on anxiety, OCD, autism & neurodiversity, gender identity, pediatric health and wellness, and stress, coping & adjustment to school and life transitions and stressors.

At CAPSS, we focus on evidenced-based practices, meaning that we use therapy that is shown to help for specific problems. All providers at CAPSS work from a neurodiversity-affirming paradigm. We also tailor our work to our individual clients’ needs and goals.

We also offer several ongoing groups and workshops including Parenting Anxious Kids, and Thriving Tweens.
